BIP xTech Spain and Microsoft collaborated to establish a Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence at Técnicas Reunidas. This structure provided a robust governance framework, enabling the organization to manage applications and automation workflows efficiently while ensuring scalability and security.

The CoE focused on:

• Driving change: training programs, mentoring, and best practices to encourage platform use across the organization.
• Governance and security: policies for secure access, data protection, and controlled application distribution.
• Asset reusability: a centralized catalog of reusable components, reducing development time and ensuring consistency.
• Advanced monitoring: dashboards and reports to track adoption, performance, and compliance.
• Decentralized innovation: empowering teams to create and manage solutions autonomously.

RESULTS

Transforming operations with low-code and AI

The implementation of the Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence has significantly transformed operations at Técnicas Reunidas. Today, over 3,000 employees actively use the platform, with around 100 Makers developing custom solutions that meet specific business needs. The organization has successfully launched more than 300 applications in production, streamlining processes and accelerating digital workflows. The integration of AI tools, such as AI Builder and Copilot Studio, has further expanded the company's capacity for innovation and scalability, bringing intelligence and automation to key areas of the business.
